Praying the Goddess Mary Rosary

Our Lady who is the Essence of the Earth,
We have called You by many names.*
Return now unto Your People,
Speak Your Will, and it shall be done,
As Above, so Below.
Please give us each moment our life, light and love.
If we have let You down,
Please forgive us and cleanse us,
According to our own willingness to forgive others.
Lead us away from Lures
And deliver us from Evil
For You are Goddess, Queen of the Universe,
Yours is the Power, the Grace, the Wisdom and the Beauty,
Age unto Ages,
Blessed Be.

*Here you have the option of inserting a mini-litany of your favorite Goddess names, such as: Anat, Aphrodite, Artemis, Asherah, Astarte, Athena, Brigit, Cybele, Demeter, Diana, Hecate, Ishtar, Inanna, Isis, Juno, Kuan Yin, Maat, Maeve, Mariamne, Sohpia, Theotokos.

While holding the ‘Mary’ statue , make the pentagram sign and recite The Marian Creed.

The Marian Creed

I believe in Mary, the Theotokos.
I believe that She is the Divine Heh, Bride of Yah.
I believe that together they work in all worlds of matter and spirit.

I believe that Mary is the Maiden Goddess.
She is the Patroness of New Beginnings, of Birth,
And She has given both physical and spiritual life to me.

I believe that Mary is the Mother Goddess.
She is the Patroness of Growth, of Strength,
And She has helped me to grow beyond my seeming limitations.

I believe that Mary is the Crone Goddess.
She is the Patroness of Death, of Completion,
And She will come to offer comfort and wisdom when my time has come.

I believe that Mary is the Nisut.
She is the High Priestess, the Holy of Holies,
And She has given me this understanding of Her ways.

I believe in the Holy Angels.
They are led by the Nisut, they are Her servants,
And they are the Messengers of Understanding and Love.

I believe in Reincarnation.
I believe that we become like the Nisut -
We become the culmination of the cycles of our life.
I work to embody Her cycles.
I work to be Thriving, Growing, and Completing.
I work to imitate those cycles that Mother Mary displayed in her life.

Recite the Lady’s Prayer on the first large bead . . .

The Lady's Prayer

Great Mother who is all around us,
Blessed Be Thy names.
Thy paradise has come,
Thy will be done,
As above, so it is below.

Give us this day a voice with which to sing,
And cause our feet to dance,
That we may rejoice in the sanctity of life.

Guide our hands to work Thy will,
And fill our hearts with joy.
For Yours is the Universe,
The Earth, Moon and Stars forever.
Blessed Be.

Recite a Hail Mary for an increase of faith, hope and charity on each of the three small beads.

Hail Mary
(Darlene Kenney)

Hail Mary, full of grace
The dust of whose feet are the hosts of heaven.
You are the white moon among the stars
And the desire of human hearts.
You are the mystery that if that which I seek
I find not within, I will never find it without.
For You were here at the beginning
And You are that which is attained at the end of desire.
Blessed Be.

Recite the Glory Be on the last large bead and after the Hail Mary on the 10th bead of each decade.

Glory Be
(Katia Romanoff)

Glory Be to the Father, to the Mother,
And to the Sacred Son,
And to the Lady Holy Spirit
They are the Four-in-One.

As it was in the Beginning
Is Now and ever Shall Be,
World without End,
Age to Ages,
Blessed Be.

Recite the Blessed Be and the We All Come on the small bead of the last Hail Mary (10th bead).

Blessed Be

Blessed Be, O High and Holy Lady!
Thou who art the Cauldron of all manifest existence!

We All Come
(Z Budapest)

We all come from the Goddess,
And to Her will shall return,
Like a drop of rain flows into the ocean.
Blessed Be.

When the fifth mystery is completed, the Rosary is concluded with the ‘Hail, Holy Queen’ and the sign of the pentagram.

Hail, Holy Queen!

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy!
Our life, our sweetness and our hope!
To Thee do we listen of Thy abundant wisdom.
To Thee do we send up our praise for all nature’s glory.
Turn then, most Gracious Goddess,
Thine eyes of compassion towards us,
And show unto us the blessed fruit of Thy womb, Your consort and Son.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Mary!
Be with us now and forever, O Holy Mother,
Blessed Be.

  1. This blog is wonderful! There's so little on Mary as Goddess. She was my first Goddess and still is the Divine Energy i turn to whenever i need my Mother (along with Hekate). I love the Hail Mary you posted -- it's breathtaking!
